The International Labour Organisation estimates that 21 million men, women and children are victims of forced labour globally. We recognise that in many cases, the individuals subjected to debt bondage, trafficking and other forms of modern slavery are amongst the most vulnerable in society. We have a zero-tolerance approach to Modern Slavery and this statement sets out the steps we have taken and will continue to take to eliminate the greatest human rights issue of our time.
